Join us on August 23, 2019 for our first gala fundraiser at Children’s Mercy Park! Since 2014, we have been working diligently to transform the lives and experience of underserved youth through a community approach. Since our inception, our organization has established a solid year-round sports, education and mentoring program in Kansas City, MO. Your donation to Global FC and our first Gala helps strengthen our mission to support youth to pursue their greatest God-given purpose and potential. This year, we have dramatically expanded our outreach to include over 300 youth from over 29 countries! We are projecting that next year we will have over 450. It takes a village to raise a child and we actively live out this collective approach in our mission for longterm sustainable impact.
The Global FC Gala is a family friendly event including a tour of the Sporting KC facility, player appearance photo and autograph opportunity, full dinner, beverage, music, silent auction, celebration of diversity and powerful testimonies of the impact being made in the lives of underserved youth and our volunteers. We hope we can count on you to join us to promote our mission and to celebrate with us at Children’s Mercy Park this August 23, 2019 at 6:30pm.

Why is our mission so important?
Abdikadir and his family fled Somalia in search of opportunity and renewed hope in America. After being in the country for merely one week, Abdikadir was plugged into the Global FC community of belonging, a place to thrive and simply be a kid through soccer. Now, he has an entire village of support built around him through our sports, education, mentoring and family engagement initiatives. This village is dedicated to celebrating and supporting Abdi, but also to hold him accountable as a GFC ambassador.
